I came across this class taught by Tech law alum and super plaintiff's lawyer, Mark Lanier. Essentially, it's a class where he analyzes various beliefs and religions using legal reasoning and burdens of proof. He's going through each of these lessons with the goal of having a book by the time he's finished. I've watched and read the first lesson below. As a lawyer, I think it's a very interesting concept. Hopefully we can keep the discussion civil ITT and discuss the strengths and weaknesses in his arguments. Assuming this doesn't devolve into a mess, I would like to post a lesson per week and discuss and debate it in between.
The first lesson is entitled: "Why I'm not an atheist"
