Why doesn't Texas Tech produce pro golfers?

I mean Longhorns have Jordan Spieth but they also produced Justin Leonard, Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw, etc.

Oklahoma St has Rickie Fowler, Hunter Mahan, Scott Verplank, Charles Howell III, and Bo Van Pelt.

How come we don't have a few guys on tour?
