Here we are, in the Elite 8 again.
In 2018 we played what was thought to be (and was proved out to be) the best team in the tourney. And although we fought valiently behind a hobbled Keenan and other niggling injuries, Villanova dispatched us and ran on through the rest of the field.
In 2019 we played what was largely considered to be the most talented team in the tourney. We survived their patented early onslaught and stayed within arm’s reach and finally turned the tide and earned the program’s first visit to the Final Four
Now, we play what some have said is the most talented team in the field. It’ll be interesting to see how this one goes!
