In the market for a dog to add to the family and would really like a German Shepherd. I would love to adopt an adult but since we have a cat I think it would be less risky to train a puppy to get along with it.
Anyone have suggestions on good places to go for a puppy? I'm in Houston but it wouldn't be an issue to travel a little ways to get the right one. I know GSDs can have some health issues if you aren't careful about the breeder. Or any suggestions on owning/raising German Shepherds in general would be appreciated.
Not sure if DeAndre Washington is a good name for a dog or not either?
