Joe Scarborough reminded us this morning that when Republicans, and Republican news outlets, go out today and start saying it's "too soon" to talk about this tragedy and offer "thoughts and prayers" these are the same people that "search out ANY crime committed by an immigrant and run it on a loop for weeks."

He reminded us that's its NEVER time to talk about sensible gun legislation.

--my thoughts not Joe's--

Why do Republicans think any singular isolated crime committed by an immigrant from a Latin country is infinitely more tragic than white people constantly mass murdering people? Yes, there's a racial component and right wing media makes it so. Fox News and right wing media in general will run non stop loops on immigrants, but want white mass murder ignored. I guess they also have "Chicago" to go to as a distraction whenever they want to ignore something.
