Kind of random here but I was reading the Beard post game thread and got me thinking about WV and their style of play. Then it got me thinking about Baylor. Then New England.

WV clearly does it with the press and reaching, grabbing, pulling or flat fouling on every single play. It works for them 90% of the time and moreso at home where they flat out don't get called for fouls.

Baylor did it with their offensive and defensive philosophy. On offense we all knew they were the first, at least in the b12, to run pick plays which led to 5 yard and 10 yard down the field pick plays. On defense it's well noted that they are instructed to grab and pull/interfere on every single play and force the ref to embarrass himself by throwing his flag every single play, which he won't do.

New England moves up and down the field every Sunday with average to below average receiver's (cept DA) and yet the NFL does nothing. Teams and officials know it's coming and it won't get called.

We are now living in the age of recruiting is king and schools or programs will do whatever it takes to land a player or family to get a future player in.

Ah hell, this turned into a column and now I will be quiet.

FML and hope Tech gets good again soon.
