He may be the most important player (maybe whoever starts at LT) to this upcoming season and to Wells tenure at Tech. He needs to stay healthy and perform at his Freshman level or better.

Bowman vs Houston, at Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma (2-1):

99-131 75.6% 1,229 yards 9 TD 2 INT
9 rushes -26 yards -2.9 avg 0 TD

Bowman at Arizona, vs West Virginia, and at Iowa State (0-3):

71-131 54.2% 753 yards 3 TD 6 INT
10 rushes 6 yards 0.6 avg 1 TD

Bowman vs his other 4 starts and 5 total games (4-0):
$ Mississippi, vs Lamar, vs Kansas, vs Montana State, and vs UTEP

158-219 72.2% 1,676 yards 11 TD 2 INT
17 rushes 8 yards 0.5 avg 1 TD

While I am not certain what Bowman will be, I am also not certain why a few posters hate on him so much. Freshman Bowman was better than Freshman Mayfield or Freshman Webb. Freshman and Sophomore Bowman beat out Redshirt Sophomore and Redshirt Junior Duffey for the starting job by Kingsbury and then by Wells/Yost. Until Maverick, Donovan, or someone else prove otherwise, Bowman is the "best" QB on the roster, the only one that has played in and /or started a P5 football game, and boasts a (6-4) record (.600 winning %) in his 10 career starts and 11 games played in overall.

I do understand questioning his health, but his play has been pretty dang good in his small sample size.
