Unlike the last comparable basketball loss -- the national championship game -- that was the last game of the 2019 season. Good because I had no desire to watch any college basketball for a while.
Now? In Sunday's last two Elite Eight games, I watched a couple of minutes of Houston-Tenn and nothing of Auburn-Michigan State. I was still kind of in a fog. The hurt of the loss has subsided somewhat later, but my interest Saturday and Monday will be lukewarm. I'd like to see UH beat Duke, and if they got a good chance to win, I'll hang with it.
As for Florida-Auburn, I don't know. Might check score updates. I don't like Bruce Pearl, but on the opposite side of that is a stalker of women where the evidence was pretty overwhelming. I'm not sure if I'd feel better or worse if Florida won the whole thing or lost by 20.
