What scenario better for the program?

Would you rather have 2016 be 9-3 season, with Pat winning the Heisman trophy and winning a very good bowl game and Pat leaves for the NFL, or win the Big 12 Championship but get absolutely destroyed in game 1 of the CFP, but Pat stays for another season?
