Someone posted on the John Kurtz show and said, "I feel like the Big 12 is the dog that caught the car... Now what?" I had a very similar thought. What is next for the conference?
So far the Big 12 has been so focused on staying alive and then carving out a section for themselves in the market place. They did that and did it well.
Talk has been how good of a salesman Yormark has been through this whole realignment process. Now he gets to turn most of that realignment energy to branding and growing the brand. I think we are about to see this conference take off big time.
What are your expectations for the future of the Big 12 over the next few years? Do you think that the Big 12 will be able to start catching up to be on par with the branding of the SEC and Big 10?
