Everyone is saying it's not fun to watch Tech play now and I understand. It got me to wondering about several things. Would we have more fun watching if the defense was the best in the country and the offense was last? Would we look at that as a better foundation to build from? Which scenario gives you the best chance to win on any given Saturday? I can remember being so excited to see Tech finally have an explosive offense after many many years of sub par offensive play. I know this defense is worse than the Leach days but there was a point in time when we all believed we could beat anyone on any given day based on firepower alone. I'd be nice for the coaches and fans to find a way to turn our situation into a positive. Let's play the young kids on defense. Let's play fast and downhill, let's blitz and take all kinds of chances and if they score a TD everyone be ok with it because we knew it was going to happenanyway. We could celebrate turnovers, stops, any individual great plays, etc. onside kick, never punt. Embrace who you are and enjoy it. Guess what. I bet that mindset would not only make it more fun we would see better results. I know. It's crazy but hey it can't hurt. Let's have some fun with it. Relax. Take chances. You have nothing to lose.
