I've heard people throwing around numbers suggesting our defense creates one or two, and that would make them happy. To me, that doesn't quite compute, given all the attention we have paid to the subject through the spring. Most average defenses take it away 2-3 times a game against better opponents.
I think we should be no less than plus 2 in the turnover margin. We take it away at least 3 times and give it up no more that one time.
And as long as we are playing, how about penalties. Keeping it under 85 yards might be an improvement, but it is far from where we need to be. Anything over 40 yards in penalties would be less than acceptable imo. Others?
