I took my daughter (Future Red Raider) to the game last night in Austin. We drove up from Houston.
I thought Texas played a real good game defensively bottling up the inside, forcing us to hit from outside and they hit key shots when it seemed like we might have a chance for a run.
I was disappointed that the coaching staff did not to react earlier in the game and have the guys drive the lanes to the basket instead of driving, STOPPING underneath and getting shots consistently swatted away. Z Smith did a very good job late driving the lanes later in 2nd half, but was to late. Also, Full Court D should have come earlier in the game. That game was winnable game........hopefully handle differently in Lubbock.
