To the people who want Kingsbury gone, please offer up a coaching candidate who would actually want to come to Tech and who would achieve whatever success it is that you all believe is realistic. We never won an outright conference championship in the SWC (tied ONCE), and the closest we've come to holding up a trophy in the Big XII is a share of the South in 2008. We have never won a major bowl game. Hell, we've only reached 10 win seasons a few times. Texas Tech DOES NOT have the money to buy out Kliff's contract. Texas Tech DOES NOT have the money to go out and hire a qualified candidate even if a buyout was somehow managed. Step away from the ledge people, and stop acting like it's a complete travesty that we are a bad team. We've NEVER been a great team. At least we have a head coach who is passionate about his job and actually wants to be in Lubbock. If you take away Tech's offense, then what is the draw to the program?
