It's pretty interesting and definitely going hard at making him look as brutal as he could possibly look, mainly regarding Neil Reed. The narrator who is interviewing anyone who will talk to him says most people in Indiana won't speak with him because they are afraid they'll lose their businesses or get blackballed in the community if they say anything negative about Coach Knight. One journalist said that when players leave the program Knight would try to ruin them at their new schools (for being disloyal), and said his program is like The Mob in how people were afraid to speak negatively about it in public.

Seems way overblown to me, but @Rolf C maybe you can add some color as to whether this 30 for 30 is accurate or a false narrative. The stuff they are saying about Knight in this show sound almost like what the left has said about Trump all these years (not trying to make this political, but it's the closest example I can think of). And of course they interview faculty members who not surprisingly said "if I acted like him I'd lose my tenure" (which is true -- coaching wouldn't translate well to a Physics classroom).

When Knight was at Tech he had a few of his tantrums but I don't remember any of our players saying he was abusive. The only abuse I ever heard about was the salad bar incident, and I only wish I could have been there to witness it. I might have even helped Coach Knight throw lettuce.

Neil Reed's roommate at Indiana actually said Knight was great to him and he just thought Neil couldn't take being singled out anymore. He said the choking incident was too far, but aside from that he was just a tough coach.

It apparently covers at least a bit of him coming to Tech because it just went to a commercial with the outro "Little did Knight know in two days his life was about to change" and it showed him wearing a black sweater with red collar.
