I guess we will have to wait and see what the outcome of Ward’s situation will be due to the new info released, but I want to commend him by not making his situation worse by picking up a resisting/evading arrest during his detainment.
I’ve seen it dozens of times, people get pulled over and taken into custody, on a warrant that they were unaware existed, and failed to follow commands of the officer, resulting in additional charges. It doesn’t appear that Ward did this, and he deserves credit for that, especially since it appears he might be innocent.
