Quick story from final day of NCAA Regional.
I was a walking scorer for the women's NCAA regional on Wednesday at the Rawls Course. One of the coaches from UNLV was walking with his player and we talked quite a bit during the round. He was an assistant coach during the Kingsbury OC era at A&M. He once came to Lubbock to an AJGA event to recruit for his job. Upon his return to the airport to get back to Aggyland, several airline folks gave him a Guns up, wreckem, etc. He thought it was kinda funny and talked to them about A&M, his job, etc. Well, his bags ended up in Northern CA and he was on a flight back to Collie Station. He still believes that it was on purpose which I agreed. We had a good laugh. He was a cool guy. I know, I know, cool story.
