The longer this campaign season goes on, the less fathomable it is to think about voting for either Clinton or Trump. There is so much to dislike about both of them and honestly not much to like.
The Libertarian candidate doesn't seem that great either.
Listening to Clinton whine about Trump stiffing "painters, and low level contractors" knowing how she herself has treated the secret service personnel that are there to protect her makes me pretty sick. Throw in Benghazi and her constant lies about the email issue and she's totally contemptable. She's a freaking liar and I don't think she has an honest bone in her body.
Trump is just a buffoon who has taken an election that if anyone else were the Republican candidate it would be runaway GOP win and done everything possible to hand the election to Hillary. The fact that he still may win is just a testament to how unlikeable and unpopular Hillary is.
Every election people joke about it being a "lesser of two evils" choice, but truthfully I don't think that's really ever been the case like it is this year. There just isn't anything about either candidate that leads me to believe either one of them will do anything positive for this country.
I'd be interested to hear anyone's opinion about why a vote should go for either candidate. I've historically voted Republican and am fiscally conservative, but have always been more middle-of-the-road when it comes to social issues and civil rights.
Thanks for letting me vent. Quite frankly both candidates have been bugging the shit out of me and that debate was just icing on the cake.
