He apparently came out and said that UT is at a disadvantage because they can't pull offers from players they don't want anymore because of fear of alieanating the schools.
Seems like saying that publicly does almost as much damage. My HS offensive coordinator (a school that produces D1 talent yearly including a recent heisman winner) posted a long message on Facebook denouncing this and calling for a boycott of schools who practice doing this.
This may not be a big deal and might be something most schools do, but just found it interesting.
