UTEP was awful and Ehlinger looked really good. I doubt anyone expects a victory and probably only a few expect a close game. Definitely a possibility that the Horns look past us after last night.
KSU and ISU were big upsets of the day. Both those fan bases must be in even more agony this morning than us. Wildcats were my biggest surprise last year. Yesterday was more like what I expect. Glad we get them early.
And does anyone start slower than ISU yet improve as much. They look to have to I'll motive even more this year.
As bad as last night was, we have a decent chance to be 3-1 and maybe regain some confidence. Maybe all the newcomers and moving personnel around on defense caused more problems than expected. That's my story and I'm m sticking to it.
