Spoke with an influential UT alum who believes Charlie Strong must win 8-9 games to keep his job.
Looking at their schedule I see them going 6-6 or 7-5 at best. They play ND (home), UTEP (home),
Cal (away), bye, OSU (away), OU (Dallas), ISU (home) KSU (away), Baylor (home),TT (away),
WV(home) KU (away), TCU (home).
As with some, I am not of the opinion that UT must get back to elite status for the Big 12 to be
successful. If Strong goes, the coaching turn over may take another 2-3 years for them to recover
(Michigan not with-standing) Clearly with their $$ and elite status, they will get back, but I feel we have
an excellent opportunity to win 2-3 in a row from the evil empire.
