I've seen enough to be embarrassed. I don't care who is playing or who Bruce is resting. We look like a team that has a very very low soccer IQ. Passing into intense pressure. Lack of awareness to other players on the field. Serious lack of tactical attack. I saw a US player with the ball under intense pressure and there were 5 US players in the vicinity and not one of them stood in the gap to present themselves as an option. That is a tactical PROBLEM.
FC Barcelona Escola Austin hit the nail on the head. Its not what we do WITH the ball, its what the US does OFF the ball that is the problem. We have an incomplete understanding of the game of soccer and that will NOT change with the current coach from what I am seeing.
