While the Black History Month jerseys from Adidas are a nice message, the uniforms are an abomination. They actually looked uncomfortable to wear or even play in. So I got curious. I looked back to teams that wore the jersey and turns out, there might be an edge.
Teams that wore the alternate jersey were 1-4 against the spread. Texas Tech, Arizona State, Kansas, and Indiana. Miami was the only team I found to cover the spread. There are a few more teams yet to wear them, today is A&M. I took Arkansas +8 last night after ULCA beat Indiana which convinced me of this theory. The line was +8.5 and is now +7.5 on most books. Maybe it's catching on.
From the 30 minutes of research I've done on X, NC State and Mississippi State have yet to wear them. If Arkansas covers today, I may take out a second mortgage.
Edit to 1-4 AOS because I'm dumb.
