Last night. Stanford game. Stanford LB did a late hit on QB and gets flagged for it. Replay clearly shows that he “launched” his helmet at QB therefore helmet to helmet hit. They didn’t review the play because it was a late hit instead of helmet to helmet. LB stays in game.
Tech player hits player and no flag but officials feel they need to review possible hamlet to helmet.
That is why I think it’s justifiable when anyone says that Tech plays the opponent and stripes.
