Guess the cat's out of the bag now, so here are the details. Tech has two hoops visitors coming into town this weekend.:
South Plains College SF Deshawn Corprew (Commited)
-For those that aren't aware, Corprew has been committed for sometime now. He originally signed with A&M out of high school last year. I think there's some thought that schools like Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and Louisville are starting to come back around and circle here, but Corprew has been pretty adamant that he wants to be a Red Raider so far. He's a program-changing level of player. Probably the best JUCO player in the entire country. He can legitimately play any position from the 1 to the 4, and he can go up around the rim as well as shoot it. He's a ready made player right now. Holding onto Corprew would be a major, major win for Beard and the staff. He's a bonafide superstar.
Oak Hill Academy SG Keyontae Johnson
-Johnson is an extremely skilled guard with a fantastic frame to help him grow for the future. He's seen as a guy that can play around the rim, and he really attacks it on offense. He's also a guy that can shoot the three a little bit. This is a true blue 4 star guy with offers from major schools like Kansas, Wichita State, Florida, Ohio State, UConn, NC State, and some others. He would be a big time get for the program.
