I've been a hiring manager since the 1990s, and during that time I've had cause to let some folks go - there's no reasonable, rational scenario where I'd hire them back. None.
People that I have let go without cause are all welcome back. All of them. Sometimes people leave without cause - maybe there is a reduction in force, or a reorganization eliminates positions. Sometimes people find better opportunities elsewhere. All those folks did great work and were separated without cause, and they are welcome back.
I would love for Leach to come back to Tech, but I don't see the path. He was separated with cause, there's really no reasonable scenario where he coaches at Tech again. That's how I see it.
