BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - Two Texas A&M professors bonded out of jail Saturday morning, after being arrested for public intoxication.
Guy Whitten, and Christine Lipsmeyer were arrested by Bryan police in Downtown Bryan.
According to Texas A&M's directory, Whitten and Lipsmeyer both work in the political science department.
The directory states Whitten is the Director of Graduate Studies, and Lipsmeyer is the Director of Political Economy & Political Violence and an Associate Professor.
Police say Whitten had fallen while intoxicated and was taken to the hospital before being taken to jail.
Both Whitten and Lipsmeyer bonded out Saturday morning.
