*The team is practicing in a dust/rain/wind storm this afternoon, so the passes weren't real crisp to receivers. Not QBs making bad throws, just the wind blowing so much that it was hurting trajectory on any ball with lift today.
*Again, the only team period we saw was almost exclusively run game. The only pass was to Coutee on a seam route from Shimonek for a 25 plus yard gain that likely would've been a touchdown in a real game.
*Nelson Mbanasor and Houston Miller continue to work at defensive tackle. I'd guess they're playing around with the idea of using both of them as great natural athletes with frames and bulking them up to be really athletic DTs. Both are built to do it, if you ask me.
*The rotations on defense continue to change from first to third string, and there are different guys in different units and spots at almost every practice. That tells me they're really using as many reps as they can to get as many different looks as they can both to see which units mesh the best together and to see how certain guys react when challenged or praised. I like that a lot.
*Lonzell Gilmore continues to make plays. Really hope he can cash in and not simply be a spring ball hero, because he's impressed me all spring.
*Nick McCann's reps continue to go up. Great sign for the depth and talent of this DL.
