I had a chance to stop by Argyle HS last week for a morning practice, and talked with current OL commit Jack Tucker and his teammate - 2022 Sheridan Wilson, who holds an early offer from TTU
I like Wilson's makeup and he had good things to say about Coach Farmer, let me know if you have any questions.

while at Argyle, I also caught up with head coach Todd Rogers, who coached me as a JV football loser at Marcus HS in the 99-00 timeframe...so whoa
anyhoo, I always ask about the TTU coaches and how the relationship is with them, etc/etc...when speaking with any HS coach.
Rogers had a unique response, because he was a GA at Texas when a young QB recruit named Matt Wells flew into Austin. Coach Rogers explained that he personally picked up Wells from the airport and spent a lot of time getting to know him during the recruiting process many moons ago.
the story came up when I asked about the notion Wells does or does not have 'Texas ties' around the state within the TXHSFB circles, and Rogers called Wells "a country boy" who has connections - maybe not as many as others - but that he will fit into the landscape easily.
that was all, there is my side story.
