Trying to remember the last time I saw defense like that

That was beyond elite. It was historical. Biblical.

I may have shed a tear at halftime.

You know, someday, somewhere, the perfect basketball game is going to be played and I just want to be there to see it. I'm not sure if the first half Tech defense wasn't part of that.

It's hard to run the motion offense successfully. It involves a ton of communication and years of practice together. It's something a team full of seniors will run better than a team of underclassmen. Defense is the same, really good defense takes time, dedication, communication, understanding. I don't know how Beard has this defense instilled in this team in only his third year. Talk about elite. I mean this kind of thing is unheard of. A couple of sophomores, four 1st year players - one a true freshman, and Odiase and Francis. It's just remarkable.

Speaking of Odiase, man are we going to miss him. What a beast. Just wow.

I know I'm rambling, I have a meeting to lead in 7 minutes so I gotta run but I'll be back later to pad my post count.
