These guys are saying Tech has the makings of a Final Four team with the same work ethic and DNA as our 2019 team.

Now after Saturday my doubts about the team being able to do some damage disappeared. Every player has a role and they play as a team, and now that they've added some defense to the shooting talent they are a really good team.

I'm not ready to call them a Final Four team yet; I'd rather them keep their noses down and keep improving. But man I didn't expect to be this excited about this team a month ago, and it felt a lot like 2018, 2019, and 2022 listening to these guys talking them up.

I'm so psyched that we have Grant, and that we have a PROGRAM now. The fact that we went through the Beard exit and the Adams implosion yet we're still a perennial tournament team with a coach who has kept us playing at a high level is pretty damn exciting. Back in the dark ages of the 90s when I graduated we had peaks but couldn't sustain success. Seems like we're finally a program that can keep it going.
