Trae Young is playing in the Peach Jam Tournament Championship game today at 1pm on ESPNU. He'll be playing against the #1 ranked PG in the country, Quade Green.
Signing Young is probably a long shot for us, but I figured some would be interested in seeing him today.
Edit:
I watched about a half of the game, and Young is really good. He finished with 28 points and 11 assists in the championship game of arguably the biggest high school basketball tourney of the year. His team won by almost 30.
His offensive skills are incredible - great ball handler, great shooter, really good passer.
If he has any weaknesses, they derive from his size and lack of athleticism (well, lacking relative to his other attributes). He's not an elite defender, and I noticed him having some trouble getting open to catch passes when he was being denied the ball by bigger and more athletic defenders.
He's like a high school version of Steph Curry - elite offensively, could be exposed on defense.
