"I had 10s of offers but it came down to Texas Tech, Auburn, and Ole Miss. The most important thing to me was the relationships with the coaching staff at my next school and I thought between coach Hamby and McGuire that Texas Tech had the best staff in the country. My host was Rusty (Staats) and with him being a former G5 transfer we had similar values and beliefs and at the end of the day it clicked and I knew I’d be a Red Raider. I have no doubt that we will be a contender to win the Big 12 and that was another driving force for me as everyone in the program expects that going into this off-season. Guns Up!"
