  • Friday Night -- It's a no-brainer you go with your ace Davis Martin.
  • Saturday -- I would think Tadlock goes with Steven Gingery in spite of his last two outings which were poor (New Mexico and OU in the tournament). Based on Gingery's stuff I think you have to go with him but you have to be willing to pull him quick if he gets wild (Ryan Shetter would be my guy to step in if Gingery is ineffective early). Gingery's body language has not exuded confidence that he feels either comfortable or in control of things. Gingery needs to relax and throw strikes. If he gets behind and walks guys early in the game then I think his confidence will go down the drain. If he starts off well then I think we will see good things on Saturday.
  • Sunday (if necessary) -- It somewhat depends on how things play out but think Ryan Moseley or possibly Ryan Shetter may get the call or possibly a combination of the two depending on how much/little we use Howard and Dugger. I think both Damron and Harpeneau have disqualified themselves from anymore starts this year or even meaningful innings the rest of the way.
Out of the bullpen both Howard and Dugger will handle the workload. Don't be surprised to see Ryan Shetter either and possibly Mushinski in certain situations. I could even see using Erikson Lanning in a lefty on lefty circumstance and because he can throw strikes. Dalton Brown might also get used if one of our starters falters early. I really don't see us using any other pitcher to pitch meaningful innings unless we are getting blown out. Patterson, Damron, Harpeneau and Eden are not guys we want to be seeing this weekend for obvious reasons.
