But I believe what happened today was “them” telling Kirby “OK, you get one more year to prove yourself right.” That obviously will not happen and despite his success in many other areas, he will be fired along with Wells. The info from McKay today only confirms that for me. They had options, good options, but at the end of the day decided to give their guy, who has performed well in a lot of areas, one last chance. They felt they owed him.
