My mother died today. It’s such a surreal thing. Her health had been bad for almost two decades (two brain tumor surgeries, radiation, major back surgery and breast cancer) and she’d really declined the past two years. About two weeks ago she got noticeably worse then really got bad 48 hrs ago.
My dad and I have spent the last few years with her in and out of the emergency room, in the ICU and in and out of care facilities so we were well prepared for her to go, but never ready. You just don’t think on Tuesday that your mother will die Wednesday.
Anyway, just needed to vent and say not many of us truly get to say we made our mark, but Linda Terrell did.
