The Vine School on Facebook
Just wanted y’all to know about a little video presentation we’re doing on Facebook tonight at 6:30 if you have some time to tune in... About 13 years ago my RRFL wife and I started a little non-profit special needs school here in Victoria for kids with Autism and related communication disorders. It was 4 students then and has grown to 46 today and we have a wait list of over 25 presently. Tonight we’re trying to raise some money for our tuition assistance program for, frankly, families that can’t afford to send their kids to the school.
Even if all you do is tune in to see what some Red Raiders have done in their community and be proud of the University we all went to... that would be enough by be. If you feel led to donate I certainly wouldn’t be mad about it.
I won’t be in this particular video but if you go to the school’s website there are past videos posted there where my wife and I tell the school’s story.
Some of y’all on the board know what we’ve been up to and @PrevostRaider even pulled some strings in our early years to get us on the cover of the Alumni magazine which was a great honor. Others have been donors in the past and I know who you are and appreciate the hell out each of you.
