Something I thought about years ago, but would Red Raider faithful be in favor of a Tech Championship? Imagine Texas Tech, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Louisiana Tech playing every year in non-conference play (VT and GT play every year anyway as part of the same division in the ACC) for the "Tech Championship". In my opinion, this would be very marketable to ESPN and Fox, et al. and increase brand recognition across the country while improving recruiting, value in conference realignment, TV ratings, etc. Tech would obviously have the same non-con schedule every year, and it would be challenging with two P5 opponents, but I think the value would be tremendous. What does everyone else think?
