In 2014, TT's offense finished last in RZ%, scores and TDs versus conference opponents.
In 2015, TT's offense finished third or better in every RZ stat except percentage. We were fifth at 89.13. OU and Baylor were 89.8 and 89.58.
However, in 2015 the TT defense gave up a RZ TD on 80% of it's RZ trips and only 6% were FGs. I'm not even sure I am expecting fewer RZ trips or a better percentage but if we could just force 25% FGs that'd be huge.
2009 was the best RZ defense since Ruffin. 70% scores, 46% TDs and 23% FGs. This would have put us in first in the Big XII this year in scoring and TDs and third in FGs.
Almost every season over 40% of TCU's defensive RZ trips end with a FG. This year was the first to not accomplish that. Since 2012, they have done it more than any other Big XII school. WV accomplished it this year. TCU's RZ% is as bad as ours, they just force FGs and we give up TDs.
