Kliff has clearly slowed the tempo down this year as a result of our defensive problems from the past.
But we suck at slowing down the tempo. We are not built to do that. Not physical enough upfront. Running backs are weak. Not good enough at QB. Receivers are not allowed to be physical in the routes (especially weak TJ Vasher). The receivers also do a poor job of adjusting their routes to the coverage.
We are terrible in the redzone against a defense with a pulse.
Everyone hated that Tuberville put the reigns on Neal Brown's offense. Well ultimately Kliff changing his offense in 2017 will end his time at Texas Tech.
