Is potentially Rich Rodriguez's wife. Hear me out...

I don't vouch for how true it is, but I just listened to the Gamblin' Gauchos podcast from last night. According to them, Alabama was set to hire Rich Rod before Nick Saban but his wife didn't like Tuscaloosa so he said no. This is of course well after we by all accounts wanted him as our head coach except the exact same thing happened.

If we hire Rich Rod, does the Air Raid transform football at all levels? If Saban ends up elsewhere, is there a dynasty like Alabama that happens? Is there the massive shift in program staffing that Saban led the charge in?

Who knows, but if those two reports are true this woman's aversion to small cities had a ton to do with the sport as we know it today.
