Would owe him 70% of remaining contract if and when he’s terminated.
Salary was for $18.8 million over 6 years. So roughly $3.13 million per year is paid to MW.
$18.8 (total contract) - $6.24 (roughly what we’ve already paid him) = $12.56 of remaining salary.
$12.56 x 70% = roughly $8.8 million to buy him out of his contract this year.
My numbers may be slightly off, but that’s roughly what we’d owe him. Thoughts? Who is gonna cut the check?
I’m not sure how the $18.8 is structured throughout the 6 years. If it’s backloaded, which I think it might be, we’d probably owe him more than the $8.8 million.
