It appears Gorsuch won't clear the 60 votes. In light of recent partisan failure, the GOP has a choice.
1.) Change the rules
2.) Set aside partisanship, and allow for a watershed pivot toward bipartisanship by sitting down with Trump and Dems and coming up with a candidate together.
One is the continued path to failure, the other is an opportunity to actually lead. Which one is chosen will be telling. Either Trump has the capacity to lead, which hasn't been demonstrated, or he is exactly who he appears to be- unable to actually govern.
