Got through the film. I don't want to speak about the defensive film, but I will about the offensive film. Here we go.

Morton played a pretty solid game. He wasn't asked to do a ton and executed the offense, especially in the second half, and put up a really strong stat line. For as limited as Morton is at times, he turns around and makes some really strong throws, and his competitiveness is his best trait. He found a way and continued to answer the call that this team needed. Awesome day for that dude on a macro level.

This throw late in the fourth quarter was the one, it set up Tahj's last TD run. He threw a pick on a similar look earlier in the season, but man, what a throw to Eakin on the C2 hole shot, which is a really, really tight window with a blitzer going to hit him. Just excellent.

I talked about it a bit earlier, but I'll provide my thoughts on the pick. I thought this was a brutal throw live, and it somewhat is, but I'm going to mention two things here. First, hat tip to Oklahoma State with this wild post-snap rotation. The eventual MFC safety runs from the LOS, almost never see that look. Also, I'm going to put some blame on Josh Kelly, who also missed the MFC safety, threw up the mailbox and the panicking Morton trusts his guy. Obviously you want better pocket presence, but this was not as bad as I thought it was live. Ultimately Morton trusted his receiver while under duress but it's still a mistake.

Tahj Brooks willed this win. He continually made something out of nothing behind the line. It was a struggle at times but he really opened up the quick game in the passing game. What a day as a pass catcher too. That was one hell of a snag to end the first half, something we haven't seen much of him do to this point in his career. Cool to see.

The line was once again a mess. Really didn't like what I saw out of Rodkey or Porcher at LG. Wish we got to see a young guy there when Porcher went down. Just tough but Kittley did a really good job to pick his spots, max protect the shots and work quick game. Really impacted the second half, where Tech took no sacks.

More nuance in the charting as always. Enjoy your Sunday.
