Anyone else read it? We would call it a gif analysis.
Also addressed the comparison to Mahomes.
I thought it was a well done take on his athletic abilities and upside and on his tendencies.
They also addressed some of the challenges in evaluating him. The 2019 usu offense had few returning starters and a coaching change after he was very effective in 2018.
One of those challenges (and they used USUs 2018 season for this example) was the tendency of the receivers to group too close together. They could not identify whether that was scheme or coaching or players taking the wrong options. They have a gif analysis and it is not the traditional Air Raid concept where receivers may go short and middle and deeper for ease of the qb reading the offense. Nor is it a rub concept. They have 2 or 3 receivers bunch up within yards of each other either short or long.
So a question to those who broke down film last year on tech - is that a tendency we had as well?
I am curious to see our offense this fall vs USU in 2018.
