Has got to be the dumbest saying in the history of sports. Of course it isn't why the game was lost but being the only team that got shit calls at the end of a close game didn't exactly help either.
I maintain that crashing at the end of the game when we can afford to give up 2 is the reason we lost but the crap officiating in OT was still a factor. How much can be argued but it still, absolutely, factored into the outcome.
Sorry for the rant, just saw way too much of that last night and this morning. It just irks me everytime I see it.
