When asked if there was anyone standing out in his recruitment, Kaluma told Rivals.com that Texas Tech was the lone program, though SMU, Stanford, Texas A&M, UNLV, and USC are among a group of others in contact.

Texas Tech: “They have had some pretty good players come out of their recently. It is a solid program. Anytime a team can make it to the championship of the NCAA Tournament, that is crazy. He (Chris Beard) is a good coach, he is a very good coach and with the way that he operates his team.”
