The Texas Tech baseball program will return to Houston's Minute Maid Park next season to compete in the 2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic. Tim Tadlock's team went 2-1 at the 2016 tournament, notching wins over Houston and Louisiana-Lafayette.
The Red Raiders' schedule has not yet been announced, but the field will also include TCU, LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Baylor.
The event will take place next spring during the weekend of March 3-5.
