It wouldn't surprise us, based on what we have heard from a couple of different college football sources, if Texas Tech fills its Sept. 12 football vacancy with a home game against Houston Baptist. The Huskies currently have a game scheduled with NAIA Texas Wesleyan on the books, but that contest would either be canceled or rescheduled.
If this happens, HBU would replace Alabama State on the schedule.
