For those of you that have kids that young or recently had kids that young, what age are they starting Kindergarten these days?
I was always super young for my grade because I had a July birthday. I have a 3 year old that turns 4 in August. He’s far advanced for a 3 year old. They’re putting him in PreK 4 starting in June, with his current classmates. Everyone in His class except him and another little girl that is an August birthday and far advanced, have already turned 4. Most of them turned 4 last Fall. So, almost a full year older m than my kid. He’s one of the biggest kids in the class, too. He loves all his friends so I’m glad he’s moving up with them as they transition.
Feels like everyone that graduates now is 19 as a graduating senior. That would make them 6 when they started Kindergarten. Is that the thing now? Always thought it was 5, if you met a certain cut off date.
